Job Duties: Obtain copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouseLoading and unloading goods from vehicles and lorriesMoving pipes and goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouseStacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructionsChecking loads are securePerforming daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks battery and lubricating equipment if requiredExamining products to verify conformance to quality standardsExecute allocated work in an accurate, timely and safe manner

Qualifications / Experience: 3 years previous experience in a similar environment preferably within the engineering or manufacturing environment.Ability to drive a forklift in a busy warehouse and support other production duties.High degree of attention to detail required to prevent injury to others, promoting a safe work environment.Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.Valid Forklift Licence - counterbalance and side loader is essential for this role.Desirable: Knowledge of pipe handling equipment.
