Job Duties: Safely transport the duty Doctor or Nurse to home visits within the area.You will be responsible for checking your vehicle and equipment on each session, to log all call details and report faults, communicate with the Central Call Centre using radio or car phone.You will also load the medical equipment for each session and be expected to perform basic car maintenance.You will be responsible for cleaning the vehicle and maintaining it to the required standard.You will be part of a small team and will be expected to assist the receptionists with handling scripts, office maintenance, cleaning of bases and call logging using the telephone system, either manually or using the Adastra computer system, when there is no home visits to be undertaken.Due to the nature of the post a high degree of confidentiality is required.

Qualifications / Experience: Full Clean Driving Licence with at least 3 years' experience of driving on the local road network, in an employed or voluntary role, or where you are required to drive for your post on a daily basis in order to undertake your duties. Your driving may be assessed as part of the selection and recruitment process.Good written and communication skills.Experience of recording written information accurately.Computer key board skills, which will be assessed by an aptitude test as part of the interview process.
