Job Duties: The successful applicant will report to the Head of Trading and will undertake a key role in which they will have responsibility for trading performance across set categories and defining product portfolio and service levels, ensuring a market, sales and profit strategy which meets customer needs is developed, communicated and successfully executed.
Qualifications / Experience: What qualifications / skills do I need to apply?Strong general educationProven trading experience, minimum of 2 years, within an FMCG or foodservice environment including supplier management, purchasing / buying and category management experienceSignificant experience in leading negotiationsStrong commercial awareness and sound financial acumenCustomer focussedKnowledge of reorder, ERP systems and resourcesProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to adapt quickly to changing demands and work under pressureSelf-determination and ability to think logicallyExcellent motivation, communication and influencing skills
