Job Duties: To take the lead to ensure that standards of care and practice are maintained, reviewed and continuously developed in line with Department of Health (DoH), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), HSC Trust policies, procedures and guidance.The post holder will have overall responsibility for the clinical governance agenda within the Emergency Department. Qualifications / Experience: Be a Level 1Registered Nurse (adult) on the live NMC register and have a degree or equivalent level qualification and have 3 years' post qualifying experience in a management role in an emergency department setting.Or:Be a Level 1 Registered Nurse (adult) on the live NMC register and have 5 years' post qualifying experience in a management role in an emergency department setting.Management role is defined as Band 7 or above and should include staff management/management responsibility for a service or locality.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
