Job Duties: An opportunity has arisen for the position of Manager (Compliance & Risk). Reporting to the CEO and with clear reporting lines to the Board of Directors, the Manager (Compliance & Risk) will be accountable to the CEO and will have responsibility for ensuring compliance by the credit union with regulatory, contractual, corporate and industry best practice standards in all aspects of the credit union's business. This Manager will provide assurance to the CEO, Board of Directors and Regulatory Bodies that the credit union is operating within the letter and spirit of the legal and regulatory framework required by the regulators and other statutory and professional bodies.See job description www.lurgancu.com/join-our-team
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Minimum 3 years' experience in a compliance, audit or risk management role orRelevant Degree or Equivalent Qualification.Skills/Abilities/AttributesAttention to detail;Analytical;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Problem solving;Logical thinker;Reporting skills;Computer literate;Flexible;Highly motivated.Desirable:Qualifications/ExperienceExperience working in a Credit Union or a regulated financial services organisation;Qualification in accredited Credit Union programmes;Knowledge and understanding of the legislation and regulatory requirements governing Credit Unions in Northern Ireland.Skills/Abilities/AttributesExperience in the use of packages such as Sage, CU Logic Manager, Wellington Scion or other relevant packages.
