Job Duties: Responsibility for the credit granting process for the company whilst proactively managing a team of credit controllers and administrators.Optimising company sales and reducing bad debt losses through effective implementation of the credit policy, assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, and conducting periodic reviews of existing customers.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Good level of education to GCSE level, including Math and English (Grade C or above)Minimum of 5 years credit control experience2 years proven work experience at Supervisor/Manager level or relevant transferable experienceComputer literate and experience of using Microsoft Office including Excel and WordExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationshipsExcellent organisational skills for effective diary planning and time managementAnalytical skills and data interpretationAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesAbility to lead and motivate a team of peopleAbility to work well with others in the company at various levels of responsibility
