Job Duties: The post-holder will have responsibility for the management and review of processes, systems, policies and procedures for the effective and efficient management of litigation cases, and for ensuring that all Pleadings received by the Legal Services Department are processed within the strict time-limits imposed by the legal process.Ensure that all policies, procedures and activities relating to the Claims Management module of the DATIX system is used effectively and appropriately and to comply with the Pre-Action Protocols and guidance and instructions on claims handling issued by the DHSSPS. Qualifications / Experience: University degree in a management / business related subject, and worked for at least 3 years at Band 5 or above (or equivalent outside the HPSS) in a governance, risk management or litigation environment.A minimum of 2 years experience managing a team.ORHNC / HND or equivalent / higher relevant qualification in a management / business related subject AND 5 years experience working in a governance, risk management or litigation environment, of which a minimum of 2 years must have been at Band 5 or above.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
