Job Duties: The postholder will provide services to promote support and grow the Agri-Food Sector to aid the recovery and growth of the economy and will be required to represent the Councils interests in wider networks and industry bodies. The postholder will be employed in the Economic Development Services Department to work on promoting, supporting and growing the agri-food sector. Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:A third level qualification (i.e HNC/HND, Level 4, Degree) in line with the Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) in a relevant discipline/subject such as Business Studies or Economic Development (Please note relevancy should be clearly demonstrated)Applicants who do not possess a relevant third level qualification must demonstrate at least five years relevant experience as below. Please demonstrate two years experience to include Economic Development, Agri-food Development or Rural DevelopmentPlease demonstrate two years experience to include assisting with Project deliveryAccess to a form of transport which will permit the post holder to carry out the duties of the post in full. Desirable Criteria:A third level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Business, Economics or Accounting;
