Job Duties: Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.Responsible for the scheduled creation of work requests and overseeing their timely completion.Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, recommending changes in training, working practices and processes, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.Manage the maintenance team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department.

Qualifications / Experience: Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualification, technical capability and understanding.Extensive plant level experience with person management experience.Completed a fully indentured apprenticeship with a mechanical/ electrical/ electronic discipline.Understanding of Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques available and challenged as appropriate to assist in successful change implementation.
