Job Duties: The Students in Secure Environments Manager will oversee the operational development and delivery of this key area of work, including driving forward growth in student numbers and success. This role will require partnership working with both the Northern Ireland (NIPS) and Irish Prison Services (IPS), as well as colleagues within the Ireland Student Support Team, academic staff, and the central Students in Secure Environments (SiSE) Team in Milton Keynes. The OU in Ireland has ambitious plans to develop this activity and you will play a key role, building on a history of successful higher education provision to individuals within secure environments.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience of building sustainable and purposeful external and internal relationshipsExcellent communication skills and a non-judgemental approachExperience of innovative planning and designing of processes and procedures to ensure greater quality of serviceExperience of directly supporting individuals either in prison or who have been involved in the criminal justice systemAdditional RequirementsYou will be expected to travel regularly around the island Ireland to visit partner prisons and occasionally to other OU locations.
