Job Duties: The Manager of Mental Health & Addiction Services will exercise full operational management / leadership in the delivery of high quality recovery-orientated Mental Health & Addiction Services. The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring the safe, effective and efficient management of services across the directorate. The post holder will manage the implementation of all statutory and regulatory requirements, financial requirements and provide effective and supportive line management across their allocation of services. There will be a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary/inter-agency working to provide excellent and safe services for the people we support. The post holder will be required to build excellent interpersonal relationships with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders and work closely with the Assistant Director to deliver on the strategic and operational aims of Inspire.

Qualifications / Experience: Professional qualification for example:Professional Social Work qualification and registered on the appropriate part of the NISCC register without condition. OrA first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register. OrAllied health professional; e.g. Qualified OT registered with BAOT. And A minimum of 4 years experience, working in a health and social care setting with demonstrated experience of managing a range of complex mental health needs In people who use are services. At least 2 years of this experience must be in a relevant operational management capacity, which must include the supervision of staff/volunteers and financial management.Please see Personnel Specification.
