Job Duties: Administer payroll for all employees.Process subcontractor payments in line with CIS and RCT processes.Manage the purchase ledger including monthly payment and reconciliation of supplier accounts.Managing the sales ledger including raising Sales Invoices, credit control, tracking retentions, etc.Complete all statutory returns as required by HMRC and ROI Revenue Commissioner including subcontractor returns.Liaise with company accountant and external auditor for year-end accounts, financial reporting, etc.General office administration duties.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential:City & Guilds Computerised Accounts Level 2 or similar qualification.Qualifications Desirable:Accounting Technician Ireland/UK Certificate or similar qualification.Qualification in Computerised Payroll.Experience:At least 3 years' experience working in a finance team with all round experience.Preferably have experience of working in a construction office environment and in particular knowledge of UK and ROI Construction tax systems (CIS &RCT).Experience of working with core accounting software Sage 50 and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.Training will be provided for all candidates so all criteria not essential.
