Job Duties: The Labour Market Partnership Manager will be responsible for the establishment and operation of the new Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership. The aim is to help improve employability outcomes and labour market conditions locally by working through coordinated, collaborative, multi-agency partnerships, achieving regional objectives whilst being flexible to meet the needs presented by localised conditions and helping to connect employers with employees. The key objective is to develop local plans tailored to Ards and North Down depending on skills, sector, and requirements; agree sector/industry needs at a local level; review supply and demand for skills, expertise, qualifications etc at local level and commission new provision to fill any local gaps. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification in business related discipline 3 years relevant experience in the following areas:Managing partnerships, networks or boards Managing external fundingProject GovernanceProject procurementSetting up and delivering training with operational staff and/or MembersExperience of Outcomes Based Accountability processExperience of budgetary control relating to procurement, funding initiatives, completion of returns and financial processingBe prepared to work outside normal office hours as required to fulfil the duties of the postAccess to a form of transport that will allow fulfilment of the duties of the postAccess to the internet to enable home working during COVID, if requiredPlease refer to Council website for Job Description
