Job Duties: Directly manage teams of staff under the guidance of the Service Manager in line with RQIA Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (NI) 2007 and the Supporting People Programme (2003) and will promote the implementation of the Bamford principles within their overall area of responsibility.Under the guidance of the Service Manager delegate responsibility and authority to appropriate staff to ensure effective decision making whilst retaining responsibility and accountability for results.Assist the Service Manager to effectively manage budgets under his/her control.A waiting list will be compiled for any permanent, temporary, full-time, part-time or casual vacancies that may arise over the next 12 months

Qualifications / Experience: Hold a professional qualification i.e. Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health Professional OR Hold one of the following qualifications: QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care, A health care related degree (e.g. health promotion, psychology)2 years post qualification experience at Band 5 or equivalent/above providing health /social care services to people with learning disabilities
