Job Duties: The employer is: DONAGHMORE HISTORICAL SOCIETY.Catalogue the historical collections of Donaghmore Historical Society, which are held In Donaghmore Heritage Centre.Scan and photograph selected items from these historical collections and edit images so they can be shared more widely. Transcribe documents where necessary.Undertake a local history research project (with guidance) and present the findings to the Society in an appropriate format.Provide administrative and other assistance as required to the committee of Donaghmore Historical Society, such as filing, writing reports, dealing with queries, meeting occasional visitors, setting up for meetings, etc.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential5 GCSEs or equivalent (including English) and a post 16 qualification (level 3).Proficient in Microsoft Office.DesirableA demonstrable interest in history.Photo-editing skills.Good organisational and self-management skills.Able to work independently.
