Job Duties: Carry out all duties in the cleaning plan in a methodical manner.Ensure that all offices, playrooms, meeting & training rooms, stairs & receptions are cleaned to a high standard - vacuuming, washing floors, dusting, sanitising all areas as requiredKeep kitchen areas clean and sanitised including kitchen equipment eg microwaves, fridge/freezers. Ensure that toilet facilities are of an acceptable standard: cleaning wash hand basins, toilets, floors, etc and keeping supplies of towels, soap, hand-sanitizer, etc replenishedEnsure meeting room areas are tidy, surfaces cleaned and sanitisedEnsure that office waste paper bins, recycle bins, food waste bins are regularly emptied and that the Council bins are ready for collection.Ensure all necessary cleaning supplies are stored appropriately, stocks checked and reported for orderingEnsure work is carried out to in line with good hygiene in infection control, health and safety appropriate to the setting

Qualifications / Experience: A minimum of 1 years work experience of cleaning role in an busy work environmentGood employment recordHonest, reliable and dependable Ability to effectively carrying out the tasks assigned in the detailed work plan and manage work schedule in a timely manner.Ability to work without supervision and use initiative.Have an awareness, and working knowledge, of health & safety and good hygiene practice as they apply to this role. Ability to effectively communicate with staff and users and demonstrate flexibility to meet requirements.Physical capability to carry out the requirements of the role.
