Job Duties: The successful candidates' role will be to work with the Leader in Charge of the Homework & Activity Club to assist with the delivery of a structured programme to young people aged 8 to 12 years.Duties include:Working with the Leader in charge assisting with homework, organisation of structured learning activities for the children.To work with the Leader in charge to carry out the advance planning of activities and ensure that safe, creative, educational activities are provided in a caring environment and to avail of resources appropriate to individual children's learning abilities.To work with the Leader-in-Charge to ensure the active involvement of children and their parents in the development of the project.This list is not exhaustive. Qualifications / Experience: It is essential that the candidate possess the following: 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English.A minimum of 6 months experience (paid or voluntary) working with young children aged 8-12.Experience of work in a school/after-school setting.Computer Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to work as part of a team.Successful completion of Access NI Checks.
