Job Duties: Promote understanding and valuing of the importance of quality play for young children's development.Develop supportive relationships with parents / carers and encourage parental involvement within Surestart.Develop and set up play provision and model good practice in interactions with children ranging from ages 0-4, including the Outerwest Surestart's Summer Scheme

Qualifications / Experience: CCLD Level 3 or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years' experience of working with children under the age of 4 in an early years setting.Demonstrable experience and understanding of the use of IT and social media systems.Demonstrate an ability to lift / move equipment safely.Demonstrate motivation and ability to work in co-operation with other team members as well as on their own.A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in NI and have the use of a vehicle for official purposes.Where disability prohibits driving, this criteria will be waived if the applicant is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
