Job Duties: Responsible for the overall safety and wellbeing of the children and families within Early Years services and for implementing the quality standards laid out by the Department of Education, the Childcare Partnership, the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and the Surestart Management Committee.Facilitating regular staff and planning meetings and ensuring staff are fully aware of their roles for supporting the improvement of outcomes for the children and families they are working with.Support and supervision of staff including annual Staff Development Review.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience of working with children under the age of 4 in an early years setting in the last 5 years.Demonstrable experience and understanding of the use of IT and social media systems.CCLD Level 5 or equivalent.Demonstrate an ability to lift / move equipment safely.Demonstrate motivation and ability to work in co-operation with other team members as well as on their own.A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in NI and have the use of a vehicle for official purposes.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
