Job Duties: To assist with the educational support and care of a pupil under the direction of the subject teachers or Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. However, may be required to assist other pupils if the situation changes. To be sympathetic to the pupils' needs during their education in Lumen Christi College. An appreciation of the importance of confidentiality is also required. Qualifications / Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at Grades A*-C (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent. Applicants must have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant childcare qualification, or be a qualified teacher, as recognised by the Department of Education.Applicants must have evidence of a working knowledge of information technology systems including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and/or C2K schools IT systems.The criteria may be enhanced for the purposes of shortlisting.
