Job Duties: The post holder will be involved in service delivery within the Dungannon & Coalisland Sure Start area and specifically for the delivery and on-going development of the Developmental Programme for 2-3 Year Olds (Dungannon). This will include working in partnership with families to promote and facilitate positive parenting and the enhancement of the role of parents as `first educator's. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Leader in ensuring the overall safety and well being of the children; for implementing the standards laid down by Sure Start and Early Year's the organisation for young children and Social Services.

Qualifications / Experience: QCF Level 5 Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development (Management) or equivalent OR NVQ Level III in Child Care, Learning and Development or equivalent ANDCurrently undertaking a course of study that will lead to the above qualification at Point 1 or equivalent within two years from the date of appointment.Two year's experience working with young children in a group based setting
