Job Duties: To manage high quality childcare in a busy after schools setting To provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the childcare.To assist in providing full care of the children including collection of children from classes and the safe delivery to parents and/or named carers. This will include providing refreshments.To carry out observation, planning and daily paperwork.To liaise with parents/carers, informing them about the childcare and its activities, exchanging information about the childrens progress and encouraging parental involvement.To work within agreed policies and practices, including behaviour management, child protection, equal opportunities, and Health & Safety.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum level 5 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (or working towards) and a minimum of 2 years experience, working in a childcare setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity. Please note any applicants with a current level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) are encouraged to apply for the Supervisors role as we can support you with a subsidised level 5 qualification.
