Job Duties: Care for children aged 0-11 years within a nursery/afterschool environment.Ensure children's care, welfare and development is met at all times to a high standard. Plan developmentally appropriate activities taking in to children's age/stage of development. Carry out observations on children and work as part of a keyworker system.Develop a positive working relationship with parents/carers. Work as part of a team.Follow nursery policies and procedures.Adhere to health and safety regulations and input in to risk assessments. Complete nursery paperwork/admin.
Qualifications / Experience: NVQ Level 2/3 in Early years or equivalent preferred but not essential as full training will be given.Applicants who have a current safeguarding certificate are desired but it is not essential.
