Job Duties: Oversee a busy Afterschool facility.Ensure children's care, welfare and development is met at all times to a high standard. Ensure homework's are completed.Help with school pickups.Plan developmentally appropriate activities taking in to children's age/stage of development. Carry out observations on children and work as part of a keyworker system.Develop a positive working relationship with parents/carers.Work as part of a team.Lead a small team of nursery assistants and delegate.Follow nursery policies and procedures.Adhere to health and safety regulations and input in to risk assessments. Complete nursery paperwork/admin.
Qualifications / Experience: NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Have Level 5 or working towards/interest in undertaking if interested in management opportunities. Experience of a supervisory role preferred.Driver preferred but not essential. (5 years driving for insurance purposes)
