Job Duties: We are currently recruiting a Child Carer to work with a Complex needs child in the home helping with Nightshift support. Supporting the child with all aspects of care and learning all specific training requirements for the child. Which will be equivalent to a band 3 Senior Child Carer role. The Hours requiring cover will be primarily Nightshift , however some day cover may also be required. The Nightshifts will rotate through week and some weekends also. We will work with all interested candidates with their availability that suits. There will be training required for the role and you will need availability for this key training. PPE will also be supplied in line with current Covid guidance. Holiday pay and pension scheme included and we complete regular salary reviews. Travel also paid. Opportunities also with experience gained to move forward into more specialised child nursing roles such as hospice care etc.

Qualifications / Experience: We are keenly interested in anyone with a childcare background or has working with complex needs. However, if you have a genuine caring nature and commitment for the role we will certainly fully consider your application. Please note, full security and police checks will be completed and we do need two full references from previous employers. Which will be fully checked. There is also a six months probation period for the role. A driving licence would be helpful also. We would ask for a high level of reliability and commitment with this role due to the strong relationship you may build with the child.
