Job Duties: Key ObjectivesTo provide the children with life enhancing experiences which contribute to a positive start in their lives.To assist children to develop a sense of their own identity and positive self regard.To support the emotional, social and physical development of children 0-4 years.To support the positive development of the mother/baby relationship.To manage and support a team of workers (including volunteers and students) through training and supervision to ensure provision of a high quality childcare service.To ensure a strong focus on children with additional needs by liaising closely with parents, professionals and organizations which work with children with additional needs.To write reports for funding bodies, management, committee and WHSCT Inspectors.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Care, Learning and Development.2 years Leadership experience including supervision of staff and volunteers in the last 5 years, working in an Early Years setting with children 0-5 years.Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.Current training in Safeguarding Children.Current Health and Safety Certificate.
