Job Duties: You will be responsible for the running of your room within the day-care centre, plan, organise, and evaluate the daily routine.Attend training for implementation of the same, carry out daily observations and update the child management system.Maintain confidentiality, provide a safe and caring environment. Supervise the playworkers.Highlight training needs of staff, maintain daily records, administer First Aid, complete, daily risk assessment, ensure and assist in daily cleaning and sterilisation. Communicate effectively and with empathy to children, parents, staff and committee members. Work as part of a team and to attend staff planning meetings and other meetings as and when required, keep up to date with and to carry out the policies and procedures of the setting, open and close the day-care as and when required.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Requirements:Applicants must be educated to QCF Level 3 in Children's, Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.12 months' experience in a childcare setting. Supervisory experience in a childcare setting.Desirable Requirements: Hold a level 5 qualification or be working towards one.First Aid qualification.Driving Licence and use of car.Child Protection/Safeguarding.
