Job Duties: Responsible for caring for children aged 2-12 years old. Must be able to provide a wide range of stimulating activities which encourage learning through play and co-operation, both indoors and outdoors, appropriate to the ages and needs of children within the group. To set up the play areas and tidy up at the end of each session. Must be able to provide a high standard of care and establish positive working relationships with the parents/carers and employees. Contribute to accurate record keeping.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Level 3 Diploma in Childrens Learning and Development or equivalent. Experience of working with young children.Must have experience working in a day care/after-school setting.Desirable:First Aid certificate.Basic Food Hygiene certificate.Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain and maintain an appropriate First Aid Certificate, Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Safeguarding certificate.Driving Licence.Job offer subject to satisfactory references, Access NI Enhanced check (with Barred List), Health Questionnaire and Social Service clearance check.
