Job Duties: The Deputy Manager will be responsible to work alongside the Manager to effectively manage the day to day running of the Preschool to ensure we provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.Have knowledge of the Minimum Standards and Preschool Curriculum to use within the setting. Work alongside other staff as a team to provide stimulating activities and engage in play alongside the children. Complete observations to link to weekly planning and complete daily paperwork which include daily risk assessments. Write up planning for the Preschool based on evaluations from other staff. Complete daily cleaning duties and follow guidelines from PHA and Social Services.

Qualifications / Experience: Level 5 and degree qualified applicants desired we also welcome applicants who are currently studying towards level 5 in Childcare Management.Paid experience in a funded preschool setting.First-aid and Child Protection qualifications are desired.Food safety training.Covid training.SEN training would be an advantage.2 years' leader experience is desired and all relevant experience should be indicated on application form.Access NI clearance and full checks will be completed before successful applicant starts.

Other Information: I can offer a Preschool Assistant Position February 2022 - May 2022 to allow experience before commencing Deputy Manager Position. You may need to work with children on a one to one during this time.
