Job Duties: The deputy Afterschool/Holiday Club Leader will work as a key person as part of the Afterschool/Holiday Club team. Under the direction of the leader, the deputy will be actively involved in providing high quality childcare in a safe and enjoyable environment for children aged 4-8 years.The deputy will assist the leader as appropriate in the planning, preparation and daily administration of the Afterschool and Holiday Club to help ensure the delivery of an excellent service both to the children attending and the parents / carers relying on it for childcare.

Qualifications / Experience: NVQ 3 in Childcare or equivalent.More than 1 year's continuous experience of working with primary school aged children.Excellent communication and organisation skills.Experience of working with primary school aged children, providing quality play opportunities that meet developmental needs.You must be able to effectively communicate with team, children and parents.

Other Information: The Afterschool Deputy Leader is required to work 22.5 term-time, 40 hours during school holidays in our Holiday and Summer Clubs.Belmont Playcare is committed to employing high quality staff and provides additional training when needed.
