Job Duties: The Daycare Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the Daycare to ensure stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families in line with HSSPS Minimum standards for children under age 12, the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Day Care Manager will be accountable to the owner Director of Little Jewels and will be responsible for managing care and ancillary staff.To ensure the smooth running of Little Jewels which, when full capacity is obtained, will cater for numbers currently capped at 19 on registration, with the inevitable growth path of a new and thriving business - this will change accordingly. Children aged between 3 months and 4 years +.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:QCF LEVEL 5 Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent.A minimum of 2 years' managerial experience working in an Early Years setting with children 0-4 years, leading and supervising staff teams.Desirable Criteria:BA in Early Years Childhood Studies or equivalent.Competence in ICT.
