Job Duties: Assist with the special education needs of the child, enabling curriculum access and attend to personal needs i.e. dietary, feeding and toileting etc. Develop a full understand of the specific needs of the child to be supported. Assist with authorised programmes (Education Plan, Care Plan etc), participate in the evaluation of the support and encourage the participation in such programmes. Support in implementing behavioural management programmes as directed. Take an active role in regular observations, Individual Educational Plans and assess the child or children you are caring for within the playgroup. For full list please contact employer.

Qualifications / Experience: Have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare approved by the EA6 months + experience of working with a child/children with special needs in a learning environment i.e. nursery, playgroup or schoolYou must agree to undergo a Disclosure of Criminal Background check
