Job Duties: North Down & Ards Women's Aid are looking for a Creche Worker to join our Children's Services team. This person will have responsibility for the planning and implementation of a childcare programme in our refuge, advice centre and other locations.Summary of post: Self-help is important in the philosophy of Women's Aid. Workers will be responsible for promoting the practice of self-help by empowering and supporting mothers in their relationships with their children. To provide a welcoming, safe environment for children in the refuge, centre and local community settings. To be aware of and effectively respond to the emotional needs of children when they arrive at the refuge and centre and throughout their stay.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience of working with children aged under four in childcare setting. Experience in an early years setting. Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Childcare or BTEC National Diploma Early Years or equivalent. Safeguarding/Child protection certificate. 2
