Job Duties: North Down & Ards Women's Aid are looking for an individual to join our team of domestic and sexual abuse specialists.This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in the North Down & Ards area.As part of this role, you will work with children in various locations, including our Refuge, Advice centre, and in community settings.You will deliver creche/playroom sessions as well as working alongside all the project teams to identify and respond to the needs of children and young people with the appropriate support.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential qualifications required - NVQ level 3 or equivalent.Recent experience (within the last 5 years) of delivering childcare, meeting the emotional, recreational and educational needs of a wide age range of children living in a residential setting and/or a community setting. Be able to contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment that provides a wide range of age-appropriate activities to enable children to reach their full potential and in a way which always ensures the safety and well-being of children.
