Job Duties: The Employer is: PINEVIEW DAY NURSERY.Maintaining security working within the required standard, ratios & conditions of registration.Adhering to company policies & procedures.Possessing an understanding of day care standards & effectively implementing these requirements.Implementing the Company Safeguarding/Child Protection Policy & Procedures.Ensuring the nursery offers an environment which reflects the cultural diversity of all children.Completing children's observation records.Creating & maintaining successful & professional partnerships with parents/carers.Close supervision of children during all meal times & adhering to the allergy & dietary requirements of all children within the nursery.Follow company procedures for the positive management of children's behaviour.Adhering to company report procedures.Other duties, training, staff meeting that maybe required.You will be entitled to annual leave during this opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:You will be required to complete a Police Check.Have a professional & mature approach to work.Be flexible in relation to your working hours.Reliable & conscientious in your care of the children.Understanding of need to provide a stimulating, caring and consistent environment for children.Prepared to take on additional training.Aware of the importance of working within set policies, guidelines & confidentiality.Have an understanding of children's needs & behaviours.Ability to set appropriate limits for children.Help children respect people of different race, gender, ability, religion & culture.To engender trust in children & colleges.Form caring and trusting relationships between children & their families. Preferred but not essential:Experience working with children 0-5.Education/ Training qualifications.Level 3 Early Years Education & Childcare Qualification.First Aid Qualification (Paediatric).
