Job Duties: Job PurposeTo deputise for the Assistant Cook when required.To assist the cook in providing and cooking meals.To ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.That cleaning duties are maintained in keeping with Food Hygiene Regulations.Lead ResponsibilitiesAssist in cooking meals.Prepare vegetables and peel potatoes.Preparation of meals as required by Cook.Setting tables for meals - morning, midday and evening.Ensuring that this is completed correctly and that plates and cutlery are cleared away after use.Serve meals as required.Clean the dining room giving care to attention and detail.Setting up tea trolley/trays as required.

Qualifications / Experience: Food hygiene certificate.NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent.Experience in a kitchen setting.
