Job Duties: Cook - Catering Assistant:Work alongside our Management Team to create menus and shopping lists to provide nutritious and wholesome meals to the children in our day nurseryPrepare morning snackCook and serve lunches for between 40-50 children dailyPrepare for high tea (although there is a housekeeper who comes in during the afternoon to help with high tea)
Qualifications / Experience: If you love to cook at home then this is the job for you. We are a home from home environment and whilst 40-50 lunches a day may seem like a lot - this is for children and young people so really its the equivalent of 25 adults or thereabouts. We have a management team who help, and its really a team effort. Food is such a huge part of our social day and the cook is often the life and the soul of our nursery so if you are someone who loves to be at the heart of it all then this post is for you.
