Job Duties: Estates at Queen's University, Belfast is currently seeking to appoint candidates to the post of Maintenance Assistant. The appointed candidate will carry out and assist with the maintenance, monitoring and repair internally and externally to buildings and associated equipment and areas within the University. This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance operative to continue their professional growth in a team environment.

Qualifications / Experience: The successful candidate should clearly demonstrate the following: Relevant academic/vocational qualifications (e.g. GCSE, O level, NVQ 2 or equivalent).3 years recent experience in a building/electrical/plumbing role maintaining building, systems and plant in a similar environmentto the University.Evidence of good numeracy and literacy skills.Working knowledge of building/electrical/plumbing systems.Understanding of relevant Health and Safety requirements.
