Job Duties: The employer is: BELFAST CITY COUNCIL.Carrying out a range of general maintenance and repairs to zoo buildings, exhibits, grounds, enclosures.For example:Testing fences and electric fences.Small painting works.Minor carpentry and plumbing works.Complete relevant paperwork.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Technical knowledge i.e. ability to maintain & repair buildings. Communication skills.Organisational skills.Teamwork.Analysis and decision making.Customer care.Health 7 safety awareness.Written communication skills.Work planning skills.No formal qualifications are required. However, you will be required at the closing date for receipt of applications to: Possess a full, current driving licence which enables them to drive in Northern Ireland or have access to a form of transport which will enable them to meet the requirements of the post in full.Have at least one year's relevant experience of carrying out repairs and maintenance work either within a public venue or in private dwellings or a private facility.
