Job Duties: Involvement in patient care: e.g.Transportation of patients and/or equipment to and from treatment areasPreparation of the patient and area for treatmentAssist in moving, positioning and transferring the patient. Having regard to safety of self and othersAssist the Physiotherapist during treatmentSupport the physiotherapy weekend service when required. Care of facilities and equipment: e.g. maintaining appropriate standards of tidiness and cleanliness in the physiotherapy treatment areas e.g. changing laundry, damp dusting equipment, and general tidying. Check mobility equipment for safety.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of 5 GCSE O levels (grade A-C), 2 of which must be Mathematics and English Language or equivalent e.g. NVQ Level 2 in Health Care Related subject ORMinimum of Mathematics and English Language GCSE O levels (grade A-C) and minimum of 6 months paid work experience in the NHS or other formal care setting.
