Job Duties: Assist the Registered Manager in the provision and management of an efficient and effective domiciliary care service provided in a supported living setting in Camphill Community Clanabogan in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and the organisations Policies and Procedures. Work within the ethos and values of the organisation. Work to a high standard and in a safe manner in accordance with the statutory and regulatory requirements and the organisations Policies and Procedures. Prepare, conduct and participate in team meetings and staff review process such as supervision and appraisal. Adhere to NISCC Standard of Conduct and Practice and keep registration up to date. Participate in both mandatory and continuing professional development training. Be able to work a flexible rota which will include weekends, unsocial hours and night duty. Attend meetings within and outside the Community as required.

Qualifications / Experience: Level 3 RCF (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or allied professional qualification or commitment to undertake Level 3 within 6 months of commencing post. RQF (or equivalent) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or allied professional qualification. Two years experience as a senior support worker within a service that delivers care and support to adults at risk, including those with a learning disability, mental illness, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum conditions. Experience of supervising, guiding and directing staff. Experience of writing specific support plans for service users. Experience of assessing and managing risk and undertaking risk management plans.
