Job Duties: The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the comfort and dignity of the clients in a family orientated home. Duties will include washing, dressing and assisting residents to the bathroom. You will also serve meals, tea and also assist some residents with their meals. You will be required to follow care plans and complete contemporaneous documentation daily. You will also be required to administer medication safely in line with policy and procedure within a timely fashion.

Qualifications / Experience: Successful candidates can develop their skills and will be supported and facilitated to embark on an NVQ in Health and Social Care. All Health Care Assistants must be registered with the NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council). A satisfactory Access NI check is essential and references will be sought. The candidate must be a responsible person and able to work within the guidelines of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) codes. Previous caring experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
