Job Duties: Serve the residents their meals, monitor intake, consider special diets and clear away the dishes afterwards. Answer nurse call systems. Feed those who are unable to feed themselves. Directly assist residents with dressing / undressing and preparing for bed. Assist the residents to use the appropriate toilet facility such as toilet, commode. Change incontinence pads as required and / or as directed. Assist with moving and handling of residents. Assist where directed or required in the making of beds. Maintain all areas in the home in a clean and tidy state. Protect vulnerable residents and a report any abusive behaviour. Be aware of health and safety regulations within the home. Attend in house induction and training programmes organised by the Nurse Manager. Be familiar with policies and procedures within the home. Be familiar with special dietary requirements.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience preferred but not essential.
