Job Duties: Leading global collaboration and cutting-edge educational methods such as Self-Directed Learning and extensive use of learning technologies.Seeking an experienced Care Assistant.This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated carer to provide 1:1 support for a SEND student currently in KS2 and assist the Learning Support Assistant and Coordinator where necessary.This 1:1 role is to support a child with a Statement of Special Educational Needs with complex physical / medical needs.Provide support for all activities of daily living including eating, drinkingTo assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupilProvide intimate care by way of daily intermittent catheterisation process.To enable the student to make best use of the educational opportunitiesBuild positive working relationships and links with parentsDevelop links with outside agencies who are working with pupils
Qualifications / Experience: Have experience of working with children with complex care needsUnderstand statutory frameworksHave full working knowledge of policies, codes of practice and legislationBe adaptable, resilient and want to make a lasting difference to studentsHave Grade A*-C in GCSE Maths and EnglishBe sensitive to the needs of childrenBe trustworthy and discreet maintaining confidentialityBe able to work as part of a team.Be a positive role model of professional practice and conduct of othersHave experience of planning and delivering & measuring interventionsHave experience working with students on a 1:1 basisBe willing to assist with daily intimate student careTo promote equality, diversity and inclusion
