Job Duties: The function of the post is to co-ordinate, prioritise and distribute all information from patients/other agencies to Clinicians on duty. As well as providing supervision to ensure the efficient running of the operation in line with management guidelines.The jobholder will work leading the team in a pressurised environment and will need to have a pleasant telephone manner, keyboard skills, initiative and the ability to work unsupervised with a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications / Experience: Five G.C.S.E. qualifications Grades A - C or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics; plus two years' relevant supervisory experience in an office or call centre environment or three G.C.S.E qualifications Grades A to C or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics; plus three years' relevant supervisory experience in an office or call centre environment.Able to manage people /projects (either inside or outside of work) and identify the use of peoples skills.Previous call-handling/reception experience.Able to work on own initiative to manage a workload and address issues as they arise.Experience of operating a computer database/bespoke systems.Computer key board skills, which will be assessed by an aptitude test as part of the interview process.
