Job Duties: The purpose of the role will be to carry out duties to assist with maintaining a high level of stock availability at all times while adding value to the Purchase Department. The Admin/Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for learning the company purchasing policies and procedures required to deliver effective company operationsThe main duties for the role will be:Processing Goods In and dealing with any queries that arisePosting invoices and creditsReceiving and making phone calls including placing orders with SuppliersFiling PaperworkAssisting with additional duties within the Purchasing Dept as and when required
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable outlook to deliver a high level of customer serviceGood communication and organisational skillsGood level of IT skillsGood numerical skills and attention to detailThe ability to be self-motivated, work within a team or independently on projects and meet deadlines when requiredDesirable Criteria:Previous experience working in an admin or purchasing roleMicrosoft Office experience
