Job Duties: Keenan Seafood is a leading supplier of fresh and frozen seafood to the catering and retail trades throughout N Ireland. An exciting new business opportunity has arisen for the company to operate a fresh fish counter, on a concession basis, at the Tesco Extra Newtownards store.The Fish Counter Assistant Manager will work alongside the Manager in ensuring that this is a successful fish counter. They will have to show enthusiasm and ambition working with the team to provide an outstanding level of customer service and attention.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Must have a great personality and committed to providing outstanding customer service.Must be capable of managing shifts and covering Counter Manager duties their absence.Must be passionate about fish and have be interested in building sales through providing an outstanding level of customer service.Must have previous experience of working in a retail environment.Must be fully flexible and able to work evening and weekend shifts.Must be aware of HACCP and Health & Safety requirements.Desirable Criteria:Previous experience of working on a fish or butchery counter.Basic fish filleting or knife handling skills.Level 2 Food Safety Certificate in Retail.Commercially aware and able to deliver an acceptable gross margin.A knowledge of fish.
