Job Duties: To ensure the smooth running of the bar at all times, ensuring that caring, courteous service is provided. To set a good example to their team by upholding a high degree of Company discipline.To provide ideas, suggestions and feedback to the Bar Manager with regards to increasing sales and promotions in the Restaurant.To ensure a high level of customer service at all times, ensuring that the customer always comes first.To identify and act upon the training needs of bar staff.To ensure the bar is secure at all times and to manage the safekeeping of all bar assets such as fixtures, fittings, stock and monies.To be fully conversant with all current licensing legislation and to assist in their implementation in line with Company policy.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential: At least 5 Grade Cs or better at GCSE level (or equivalent).An excellent problem solver with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.Leadership qualities, must be able to set a positive example and deal with situations as they arise, and manage staff, to maintain standards.The ability to organise and prioritise effectively.Good communication skills.Minimum 1 year's experience at a supervisory level within a busy bar environment.Desirable Requirements:Experience within a hotel/ hotel work.Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
