Job Duties: The employer is: ULSTER WILDLIFE.Preparation for & delivery of Wild Well-being sessions Promoting environmental engagement opportunities with youth & community groups.Compliance with statutory & funding requirements while undertaking duties.Take proper care of all equipment & resources & to ensure that these are left safe, tidy, clean & secure when not in use, including buildings.Equipment & resources inventories.Delivery of public events and education / youth programmes & any other community engagement activities.Promotion of Ulster Wildlife's Environmental Youth Work via communication channels.Face-to-face promotion of Ulster Wildlife's work with young people.Comply with all health and safety requirements & report any issues.Undertaking a range of health and safety checks for environmental youth work activitiesMaintain & update all relevant records as necessary.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: A passion and enthusiasm for working with young people on programmes about, in and for the natural environment.A willingness and desire to learn new skills, welcome supervision and advice.An ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.The ability to work outdoors in all seasons, learning skills in a 'hands-on', practical manner.The ability to work as part of a team.Flexibility in your schedule to attend training courses, workshops or events.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.Desirable Criteria Experience of working or volunteering in the nature conservation, education or youth work sectors gained within the last 2 years.The skills and confidence to capture and share your experiences either in writing in a blog / diary or by photograph and video.
