Job Duties: The employer is: CROSSKENNAN LANE ANIMAL SANCTUARY.Duties include:Mucking out stables, laying new bedding, maintaining area, brushing down yard and ensuring space is tidy and safe for both visitors and clients as well as the animals. Work alongside the main yard grooms and labourers; to coordinate with other members of staff and the senior team. Work alongside visitors, trainees and therapy clients to provide a friendly, safe environment for working with the animals. Working under the guidance and supervision of the AHP coordinator to best meet the needs of the client. Provide supervision for volunteers. Assist with the moving of equines and their daily care. Assist with training of people working with equines, under the guidance of the AHP coordinator.Manage equipment and ensuring it is properly cleaned, stored etc.Provide media releases; including short written pieces and photographs.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience of working with animals in essential.Qualifications are not required although any within the field of work is welcome.Organisation skills as well as some experience with keeping rotas and schedules is desirable.Experience with horses is desirable; even on basic levels; although you will be required to lead and groom horses at a minimum.
